Did anyone grow up on or near Webber Row, SE1, or know someone who did, and have any memories or information about the bomb shelter that is underneath the garden in the middle of the estate? Perhaps you or someone you know might have photos of it in use? We, the local TRA, are working on a project about the history of the shelter and would love to hear from you.

Hi i remember the air raid shelters in Webber Row, there were two of them in the gardens, I used to play on them when I was a child. They were brick built if I remember, with one low part and one a bit higher ( a bit like a giant step ) we did break into one once but it was very dark and smelly inside so we did not go in.
