Hello lovely SE1-ers
Any recomendations for a ladies hairdresser in SE1,
Pref. London Bridge, Bankside, Borough, Waterloo.
My stylist has left with no trace from my regular salon in W1 and prices hiked up beyond reasonable.
Went up from 48 to 60 for a wash cut and blow in one hike? That is just wrong!

The hairdressers at st thomas' are good. It's about 30 for a wash, cut and dry.

I second Julia's recommendation for Malishi's - excellent hair stylists and very reasonable for the area. The head massage is a welcome added bonus!

yes, I use Malishi too. Good for straight hair. Lovely head massage worth 15 on its own!

I can vouch for Malishi too. They are lovely in there -- but you need to book ahead as they tend to be very busy.

As a result of reading the above posts I went to Malishi today for a haircut.

It was wonderful!!!

I hate hairdressers and had been bullying an inexpert but long suffering friend into cutting mine for some time, without much thought for the look as I'm getting older, but todays experience was a delight.

No snooty stylists, no pressure, just lovely, sweet, hard working, very polite, considerate and talented people who want you to have what you want. It was exceptional. And the head massage IS terrific!

I absolutely loved it and the cut, which was a fairly minor change/trim, has taken years off me! They are very, very good!
