Sometimes topics threaten to sink to a level that is not in the interest of the community. If SE1 sunk to the kind of comments you get e.g. on the BBC's HYS these days, I'd see that as a heavy loss. It's a brilliant website that has been part of my day to day life for a very long time and all credit to JH for that.
