When is the Wheatsheaf in Stoney Street re-opening?

Am looking forward to trying out the re-opened (and genuine) Wheatsheaf in Stoney Street this evening.

It's good that Network Rail are finally returning properties in the area to their proper use.

I think the Southwark Street "Wheatsheaf" needs to consider a name change to avoid the inevitable confusion that "meet you at the Wheatsheaf" is going to cause.

As the (underlying) landlord of the original Wheatsheaf - as it is a United St Saviour's Charity property - it is good to see the rents from the pub going towards funding our ever-expanding giving in Southwark which has been 500k this year... I wish Young's every success with the re-opened pub

They could go all contemporary and name it 'Wheatsheaf Ver.2' or perhaps a return to that slice of lovely history on another thread 'Becky's '? There again 'The Dive' would make geographical sense.

The Hop Exchange version of the pub now styles itself as 'The Sheaf'
