The Woolpack has an upstairs room for private parties at a very reasonable rate

I used the upstairs bar at the Bridge House on Tower Bridge for a sit down meal for a birthday but also for drinks and nibbles for a leaving do. Both were successful and the staff were lovely and keen to meet your requirements.

No connection other than satisfied customer.

I have been to a wedding and a Bar mitzvah in Delfina, a converted chocolate factory in Bermondsey Street. A lovely venue and the catering was very nice.

The first floor room at The Leather Exchange is lovely, and the food great. There is also a good sized first floor room at the Bermondsey Square Hotel (probably the right size if you want a dj). Not so confident about the food there if its by the reportedly dire Greggs outfit.
