Hi, my windows were smashed on Sunday night / Monday morning along with thos in about ten other buildings on Union Street and Marshalsea Road... I have set up a group specifically looking for more information about these incidents, please join if you have any information about the goings on or even if you are just an interested party and would like to be kept informed.

The Crown did in fact have four windows smashed on Sunday night / Monday morning, we went in and spoke to the landlord today, I think he just was able to get the glaziers out quicker than the rest of us!

I noticed yesterday that the cottages in Copperfield st have been hit as well.

Can't quite believe this is happening on this sort of scale in such a concentrated area and the Police aren't on to it - surely it can't be that hard to catch someone for this!

Two updates from tonight's community council meeting

* The police now have images of a suspect and it's likely they will release these pictures soon in an effort to trace the offender
* Cllr Adele Morris reported that plans are afoot for a public meeting this Friday evening

Have the police tried speaking to the local hostels? Any newcomers in said hostels? Are there specific times of these offences? Can it be whittled down to a specific time frame or day? Are there any mental patients missing who have a history of window smashing or such like? Could it be students doing their mad studenty rag type things? Just thinking out loud.
