Passed London Bridge Post Office (BHS) this morning (Saturday)and realised it was open. Very convenient - I'd been carrying a letter around most of the week hoping to find a post office that was 1) open and 2) not too crowded.

I don't know how long this has been going on, but it seems to be opening on Saturdays (mornings only) just until the end of March (ie next week).

Does anyone know, is this just an experiment? Is it likely to become a permanent arrangement? I'd find it very useful - it could save me a special journey or a long detour to find another post office.

has been open on saturdays since the summer I think? I only realised over christmas, am hoping the trial period has proved worth the extra opening and it continues

It always used to be open Saturday mornings (going back 5 or 6 years) - I didn't know they'd ever stopped.

The website says it's closed on Saturdays.

but the official Post Office site says it's open Saturdays 9.00-13.30

The permanent panel beside the door showing opening times says it's closed on Saturdays, but there's also a crudely-made paper notice announcing that it's open on Saturday mornings until 31 March.

Looks like the Saturday opening is now a long-term arrangement
