very few (if any) of those pics appear to be either in or of the E&C - unbelievable what they can get away with really.

Also very strange which of the "food & drink" locations they have flagged on the map and which they have ignored. La Bodeguita is included but not the Castle Tandoori or Dragon Castle. And you might want to eat at "Southbank" but not apparently at any of the many venues on the Waterloo Road or The Cut.. most peculiar.

Councillor Colley once said that "At its core, the regeneration of Elephant and Castle is about providing better homes for our tenants from the Heygate estate."

But only 8 of the 235 new homes in this development will be social rented.

So what will happen to former Heygate residents' "Right to Return" they signed before leaving the estate?

Will they be drawing straws?...

Bridget and Nicholas were very pleased they bought at the Elephant when the aliens invaded and refused to go South of the river at that time of night. They do miss their favourite restaurant in Camden market which was destroyed in the ensuing battles, but have appreciated the increase in property prices throughout Southwark.
