Yes, they are biodegradable and the process starts upon moving in. These specs also gave some extra browny points for planning permission as now it's a 'green development' ;)

Maybe that's to state that he courtyard in this development will also be exclusive to residents of this development only so they don't have to mingle with the surrounding riffraff, such as myself?
