Is anyone else being inundated with Ladybirds in their flat just lately, or is it just us. We seem to have a lot of them turning up over the last couple of weeks or so, or maybe there is a nest nearby.

I haven't seen a ladybird for months and in fact, was hit by my first insect while cycling on Monday and I can't remember the last time that happened. I actually felt excited about it as signifying spring was coming (I was also cycling West up Tooley Street, so double excitement). Who knew you could miss insects. Then of course you get hundreds like you are and it's just annoying.

I suffer with lady birds, even with the windows shut they still manage to find their way in!!!

Ladybirds are just coming out of hibernation so it is possible they were already in your flat somewhere.
