Although i bet there has been more than one person wandering back through the area post club at 0600 that see this up in the air and promises to never touch drugs again ...

The sculpture of the Dog and Pot has a Charles Dickens bi-centennial connection, It was outside a shop on this site and Dickens mentions it in his writing. It was thought that he walked past it on his way back from working in Charing cross to his home in Lant St.

Wish the pigeons would promise never to touch the the dog again - his back is starting to look decidedly messy! Do hope cleaning was scheduled into the costings.

They should run a current through it like the Churchill statue on Parliament Square. That would put the pigeons off.

Suziq; absolutely agree. It's starting to look a bit of a mess. Someone needs to find a solution to stop the pigeons pooping on the statue. In fact, someone needs to find a solution to getting rid of the flock of pigeons around that area; it is growing every year.
