I thought this deserved its own post.....while trying to purchase a single lime this morning, and having checked all likely areas on the self service till, including typing the description(I got as far as typing "L I M" before the computer told me there was no such item), I asked one of the lesser spotted assistants what name Tesco called the item I believed to be a lime. The answer...? Process it as a single Banana.....silly of me not to realise really.....!

One of my granddaughters favourite expressions at the moment is...Nanny your a silly banana...comes to mind when you think of the staff not putting up labels to explain their weird cross referencing! your right Bankside that really deserves it own post!

Reminds me of struggling to find loose bread rolls on a Sainsbury's self checkout once. No categories, just alphabetical options. Turns out they were listed under T because they all started with "TTD" (Taste The Difference). So user friendly!
