Anyone had a power cut/ flickering lights etc in SE1 as ours has played up a bit this eve? Three times we've had flickering electricals.

Yes... My lights have flickered for a few seconds twice at least in the last hour.

We seem to be having "brownouts". Had about 6 noticeable ones this evening so far. Not a good sign.

I'm sure I've had more than the two I noticed but I've been dozing on the sofa so likely didn't notice them, think I'm getting a summer cold. :(

My block of flats on Lant Street has been completely without power since 9.20. Hopefully the power will come on again soon as my iPhone battery is just about to die.

Do you have a laptop with power? Keep your phone alive by plugging it into that.

Borough Station is closed due to power failure, and lights are out on the High Street between the station and the library.

my lights were flickering on and off last night, thought the long life bulbs were giving up the ghost!

My lights flickered a couple of times last night.
My electric oven also came up with some strange error message, but luckily I could fix it by turning the power on an off.

We had some protracted light flickering. Still no idea what caused it or if it was related to the powercuts towards London Bridge and Peckham. See how it goes tonight - particularly if there's a thunderstorm!
