I received some info through the post about this provider of wireless broadband that uses the new 4G LTE network available in Southwark. As far as I understand, the router goes as high up in the house as possible and "collects" the internet signal wirelessly and then transmits the signal wirelessly around the house - no phone line or cable required. It all sounds fantastic and I'm thinking of signing up

Has anyone used this provider and is it any good??

We had a demonstration of it in our office. It's very impressive - just plug the box into the mains and you are online at very decent speeds.

Very decent? Is that speedy enough, acceptable?

I really like the idea of this, as it doesn't need a landline.

I've been desperate to get rid of my landline, so I'd be interested in this if it offered a saving over a fixed line and mobile.

Having looked into it it works out at 4 more expensive, ah well.

Funny enough, it is not available in my part of SE1 (Tower Bridge Road)
