Or to give it it's proper name hospital acquired infections, despite the enormouse amount of money spent on hand sanitising units throughout the hospital I was shocked to see large amounts of staff enter into a high dependence unit, consultants some of them by the look of superiority,doctors students not bother to sterilise their hands. There must have been about 40 staff go in en masse in a period of three hours and only about ten cleaned heir hands.

I have to attend a day unit for days at a time and the staff are meticulous about hand hygiene, yet in a High Dependence Unit no one seemed to bother, one student who used the steriliser nodded to his friends to use it as he had and the response was a shake of the head...

Wonder how much all these units cost to supply and refill?
