Hi Folks,

Yet again, I've broken a bed.

Should be quite a simple fix - it's just a long square piece of wood (to be measured soon) that runs down the center of the bed, top to bottom. Not the slats running right to left, it sits under and supports them.

I'm assuming it'll be a standard height / width, any ideas where I could get one cut to length and, ideally, a hole drilled in each end for the bolts?

Closer to St George's Circus the better.

Also if anyone knows if I should be after any specific type of wood and what this might cost roughly, that'd be just grand.

Whitten timber on Peckham Park Road. Take the old piece in with you and they should do it for you. They're very helpful in there
