Hello. Does anyone know of a hall or gym floor area which could be hired in SE1 for aikido classes? Probably only need about 500 sq ft and including an area to store mats. Ideally this would be available on a Monday or Tuesday night for 90 minutes - 2 hours some time after 6.45pm

Thanks

It could be worth asking Morley College as they have a lot of space, plus The Three Stags pub (opposite the war museum) has a large room upstairs they hire out to groups - I know a group of actors use it a couple of times a month for rehearsing.

I'm not sure if it's big enough, but Mint Street Adventure Playground on Southwark Bridge Road have a hall. Think you would need to reach Southwark Play Services to organise rental. V

St Andrews Church on Short Street hires out its hall for various classes I believe, though I can't vouch for size.

Hi, there's hall & mat storage cupboard at Beormund Centre in Abbey St - worth a try. Good luck!

Also, Stansfeld Oxford and Bermondsey Clubb, off Tower Bridge Road might be able to help.
