Once again the Councillors will be discussing the business of the borough, at Harris Academy, Peckham on 27 November. They will also be debating about Local Business and Enterprise in Southwark.

Do you have a comment you can post which I can include among my feedback to councillors (I also go out to the shopping malls and other meeting places to take views from the community).

I have a couple of questions you could consider:

- What activities or projects would you like to see more of in town centres and high streets to help them grow and thrive?

- How can we work together to make better places that help businesses flourish?

possibly reduce high business rates and lower rents that would enable small business to to see more arts and crafts shops locally, or artists work displayed. dont know if thats the right sort of question.

I agree that both those questions are the kind that you can take in any direction...given that local authorities have their budgets cut, a lot more is asked of people to get involved - thanks for your response.
