Sorry. In my hysteria, I obviously missed that we were discussing an office development rather than a residential one.

Unless the plans changed a lot during the planning permission process, we are discussing a mostly residential one. The plans I saw at the initial consultation were nearly all residential, with some retail to replace the existing retail and an ill-defined 'cultural use' on the inland side.

Did they change that much?

I must apologise for any confusion that has arisen from my post. I was responding to GeminiX's response to Jimfearnley's post which had moved on from Imbibe to the whole of Blackfriars Road and , in his view, it becoming an annexe of the City.

Love it or hate it, the last few bricks are coming down in the next few days, there will be a big hole there very shortly!
