Something for the archive here. SE1 gets a few mentions in this article from the Independent today, and the residents at QH will be keeping a close eye on developments as the bulldozers may be coming down Burrell Street in the not too distant future.

It may not be too late. it seems there is a shift in thinking about demolition being the answer to everything. I read this in today's Guardian.

Southwark gets a mention in this DM online article, alongside other traditional working class areas being regenerated, but of course with the original inhabitants not even getting a look in as properties are sold off plan overseas. Seems they are cheap as chips for them, though completely out of reach for the locals.
