The Camel and Artichoke in Lower Marsh do a nice Sunday roast.

Did not realise they were open of a weekend. That's good to know!

Mint=Goldsmith? Agreed if so, though it's at the pricier end. I also like the Trinity next to Borough tube.

Sorry, yes. I knew it was something to do with precious metals.

So what does Pops stand for? Just curious as I always had you pegged for a bloke.

The Ring opposite Southwark station has a great reputation.

I also had amazing Roast Beef at Brown's by Butlers Wharf.

Also you cant go wrong with Laughing Gravy.

When I last walked past The Ring, it was advertising "gourmet" hot dogs.

What an odd concept. What next? Gourmet Monster Munch?

Well, I suppose if you can get a "Gourmet Burger", why not a gourmet hot dog...

Oh, I accept that the term exists. It's just that I refuse to accept that it should exist, or that it isn't a gross breach of common decency and trades descriptions.

...if you press it, they will come.

We went to Simon the Tanner last Sunday and it was very good. I'd recommend the pork pie starter, and they also do a mixed roast (beef, chicken and pork) which is agreat idea as it's always the hardest choice of the week!
I second the recommendation for the Sunday roast at Simon the Tanner! The Kings Arms on Tooley Street is also pretty good.

We had a very tasty and good value Sunday lunch at The Bridge House a couple of months ago. Bonus Adnams beer :)
