So Sainsbury's are finally opening a supermarket on the South Bank. About time too!

You made such a valid point I thought it is time you received at least one affirmative response. Where is everyone?

Hi, I agree too many forums. I live opposite southwark tube and don't know if the South Bank, Bankside or E&C forum is most appropriate. And anyway where is Waterloo?

OK - perhaps we need a rethink on the structure of these forums. What suggestions would you offer? The idea with the individual Bankside, South Bank, Waterloo, Borough etc forums was to organise the discussions according to "real" areas that really exist - whereas SE1 is a fairly arbitrary invention of the Post Office. All suggestions welcome! James - Manager

The mini forums do seem a bit mini. There are lots of great things in the whole area and it seems a pity to encourage boundaries. How about splitting into topics: development/regeneration, local and family history, attractions (London Eye, Tate etc) shopping and resturants, and so on.

Well, we've now merged all the area forums into one big forum - what do people think?

There are a number of empty buildings around the Duke of Clarence pub on London Rd and Borough Rd. I understand that South Ban Uni. owns the land and wanted to knock them down to erect another student building, but failed to get planning permission. Does anyone know what will now happen to these buildings and the family of foxes which seem to live in among the dereliction?
