Hi everyone, just to say that you'll be very welcome to come and help us seed GMH Park's new meadow in memory of Maureen Johnston, on Wednesday 26 March, 2-3pm, in GMH Park next to the World Garden, Lambeth Road.

Maureen was the founder of the Friends of GMH Park, and its chair for many years, and she worked tirelessly to protect and enhance the park (see http://www.london-se1.co.uk/news/view/7311).

She helped to choose the site for this new meadow, and together we will be seeding it with a wild flower seed mix. There will so NOT be a plaque, as Maureen worked hard to stop the park being festooned with memorials!

And for info and invitations to all the other events in the park, do join our mailing list at www.friendsofgmhpark.org

Warm wishes,

Jessica
