There is a battle royal going on over here in South Bermondsey between Labour and the Lib Dems, with UKIP stirring in the wings, something no doubt Graham Neale would attest to ( as a regular se1 contributor). Labour are clearly targeting the ward as very winnable; the Lib Dems appear to have taken to the trenches and are fighting a rearguard action. Although there are UKIP mutterings I have as yet to receive any electoral communication from them unlike both Labour and the Lib Dems who clearly believe its worth sacrificing a few more trees in order to get their message across.
Here in Bishop's Ward I have received communications from:
one flyer each from the last four and the most, by far, from the LibDems. It would appear that they are most worried about losing their seats to Labour.
Maybe broken manifesto promises, broken signed pledges and siding with the Really Nasty Party has something to do with it
