Pride is showing at the Shortwave Cinema in Bermondsey Sq, SE1. The film tells the true story of the links built between the London-based "Lesbians & Gays Support the Miners" group and the mining community in Dulais, South Wales during the 84/85 miners strike.
The film is both uplifting and poignant and stars Bill Nighy, Imelda Staunton, Dominic West, Andrew Scott, Freddie Fox and a host of other talented cast members.
On Sunday 21 September, the 1700hrs screening will be followed by a Q&A session with former members of LGSM. Space is limited, so advance booking is recommended.
