Next weekend we are going to London for a few days. We are staying in Novotel Waterloo on Lambeth Road. Now
I'm searching for a nice pub were we can have a good meal.
Not to expensive and it also has to be nice for our son (11jr).

Are there things we have to do during our stay? We already bought tickets for the hop of en on bustour, Ripley's. Every tip is welcome.

Welcome to London.

There are plenty of child-friendly restaurants on the riverfront - particularly beneath the Royal Festival Hall.

In the same road as your hotel, going towards the Imperial war museum, is a pub called the Three Stags, great food, particularly Sunday lunch, and child friendly.

Hi Annet, some suggestions for you & your family

1. Walk along the south of the river from Lambeth Bridge to Tower Bridge
2. If you visit the London Eye, book tickets for 9am else you have to queue before departure
3. Visit the poppies in the moat of the Tower of London
4. Take a boat down to Greenwich & visit the Maritime Museum & Royal Observatory. All my visiting friends love to stand on the Meridian Line
5. Visit the British Museum. Your son will enjoy the mummies but there is so more much to see
6. Visit the Queen Elizabeth Park, Stratford - site of London2012 Olympics

With regards to pubs near the Novotel, try the burgers at the Grand Union Kennington
