Bike 'gate' on Trinity Street

Went through last night and the gates didn't seem much different. Interestingly, at the same time as I went through a gate another cyclist mounted the pavement and avoided the wiggly gap altogether...

Roadworks finished, now back to normal, gate not yet moved - roadworks presumably nothing to do with the 'Quietway' project - they're now digging up the west end of Trinity Street.

As I was walking to work, I'd asked one of the guys who was working on it the very first morning if they were working on the gate - he said yes, but I dont think he quite understood what I meant.
