Paramount I still cannot understand why you think "we" should have been consulted. By "we" do you mean women patients, men, children, the elderly , the very young as seperate groups or the whole patients' register? And what if such consultation produced an overwhelming agreement with BMP's position where would the objectors stand?
Where do you draw the line on consulting patients?
Birth control clinics perhaps?
I am of the firm opinion that other patients' feelings, beliefs, mores or religious ideology should not impinge upon my doctor's treatment and advice to me and I believe that applies to Abort 67, they should not be allowed to come between the doctor and his patient.

Paramount, I too was wondering what ailments/health issues the GP surgeries should be allowed to deal with, maybe older people should have specialist surgeries too, or people who may be experiencing work-related stress, or people who drink etc. Really confused by your argument.

We have decided we will go back tomorrow. We will all be holding banners that simply say 'Go Away'. We will not engage with Abort67 as this is what they want. After Christmas, our energies are likely to be spend in lobbying for buffer zone to be created around clinics. Please do join the 'polite demonstrators'. 1pm - 2pm. And if any of them are on this web-site:

Abort67 didn't turn up today, which is good. Several locals turned up and so did a member of Seven Sisters. The message received was that the GO AWAY message was a good one and the fact that we are local residents is helpful. Further information to follow, but our next move will be to write lots of letters in order to get a buffer zone put around similar medical centres. We may carry on with the counter-demonstrations but could do with some help on this; does anyone live within sight of the surgery and is prepared to phone us if Abort67 show up? PM me please.

Glad all went to carols.... Music can be a great therapy healer.

Paramount are you a stalking horse for Abort 67 ?
Do you agree with their vews and tactics ?
Are you a closet member of Abort 67 ?
Are you a patient of Blackfriars Medical Centre ?
Are you deliberately trying to undermine BMP and their actions ?
I ask because your position and comments only seem to make sense if you are an active member of Abort 67.
Did Abort 67 attend a carol service yesterday as you seem to indicate ?

There is a petition in support of buffer zones around abortion clinics, which has got over 95,000 signatures in support since 4th December.

Legal exclusion zones.

Signed it! That's excellent support. We'll start the letter writing after Christmas.
