Hi SE1ers,

Does anyone have any recommendations for cat sitters in the local area (or who will travel to SE1?). Looking to go away for a few days and don't want to put the little darlings into a cattery if I can help it.

Many thanks.

We've used CDPOM over several years now whenever we've been stuck. Reliable and good service. Happy customer (no relation or connection).

I use Hector from Malibu Cat Sitting. he lives in SE1 and travels around on his bicycle.
rates are reasonable and far less disruptive than going to the cattery.

I have a fairly anxious cat and he puts up with all her quirks

Best yet, he'll tweet (you can see it on his website) about your cat whilst you're away :)

Another recommendation for Hector at Malibu.
Used him for the first time last year and he was great.
Came to see me before my trip and he made a note of the peculiar ways of my cats.
Sadly one of my cats seemed to be sorry when I came home and Hector stopped visiting :(.
I would happily use him again.

There are sites like housesitters where people will house sit for free, if you are in a good destination (and we all know it doesn't get better than SE1). However, Hector looks like a really good service if you can afford it as he clearly loves cats!
