Did the Army detonate it on the Isle of Grain? About one hour ago friends reported their houses shook after hearing a very Big Bang?

It was detonated at Cliffe in Kent.

News just in....Vera Lynn's agent has been in touch and she is available for a show tomorrow at the Seven Islands Leisure Centre. In other news, the NAAFI have set up a tea van in Spa Road. The first shipload of Yanks are expected here by Wednesday, with their chocolate and silk stockings. Yes, we have no bananas. Unconfirmed reports that a framed photo of Hermann Goering has been given pride of place in the SE1 offices have been strongly denied. And finally, turn that light off, don't yer know there's a war on!?

In a worrying twist, Merkel has demanded that the bomb should be detonated among the working class Londoners as was intended, so they moved the bomb to Kent.

On average, 15 unexploded bombs are found in Germany every single day.

Could someone go update the wiki page that Jule62 posted, it doesn't have our bomb on there and I feel it needs it, including a link to this site! It refers to a notable bomb in Munich that was 500 pounds, so the Bermondsey bomb should definitely be there.

Also, 15 a day in Germany? Blimey.
