When my dad (communist, republican, atheist) was in the army, he was put down in the books as 'C of E' - the same as everyone else who wasn't Roman Catholic or Jewish.

Seems as though Corbyn is already having to water-down and compromise on his 'radical' ideas.

That's a real shame - I was hoping he'd really go for it with loony class war marxist proposals.....as this would have almost certainly hastened the inevitable removal by internal coup, or mass defection of moderate, electable Labour MPs.

I do wonder how much support he would have gained with his apparent euro scepticism and how much he would have subsequently lost, due to his recently announced desire to stay in the EU.
