I was recently at a community coffee morning in a village hall in Suffolk. Teas/coffees were available to buy, along with cakes and savoury snacks (homemade provided by volunteers). There was also a stall selling fruit and veg and someone offering massages. The atmosphere was really positive and it had a real sense of community. It is run on a monthly basis and organised by volunteers. The proceeds go towards hiring the hall. I think it would be great to have something like this in SE1... or does something like this already exist?

Hello,

I think this is a good idea and would like to offer Blackfriars Settlement as a venue. If you would like to get in touch we can have a chat about it.
