I think you'll find that the Academy/free school system as a whole tends to lead to higher turnover of staff.

As for crossings there's two crossings quite close to there (zebra opposite the fire station/pub/Mint Street playground, and light-controlled crossing slightly north of the fire station).

Was driving through East London yesterday and saw at least two schools based in what clearly were originally office blocks on very busy main roads and certainly not a traditional school setting. What amenity space do the kids have?

As for Ivanhoe's point, yes, they have a much higher turnover of staff. My son's school has quite a number of staff whose last day is today, some of whom only started in September!
