Bermondsey Street was destroyed many years ago!

I wish the owners of Zucca all the very best in their future endeavours. I have eaten at Zucca at several special occasions and always enjoyed a wonderful meal washed down by a bottle of wine or two. Feel a little sad reading about the imminent closure.

Went there last night for one last meal, which was excellent as ever.
They told us that they were actively looking for a new site in the area, probably a little smaller than the current restaurant, and would step things up in the new year. So hopefully it's a case of watch this space.

The site still hasn't been filled. Any news?

I have seen builders/contractors/people inside recently.

The site has construction going on.

Isn't the apart hotel extending into there?

There will be a significantly larger restaurant space in its place (the apart hotel is being upgraded and comprehensively refurbished, but is in the space above the restaurant). Expected to open in the new year/spring 2017.

Anyone know what Sam Harris is doing these days?
