I use the Doddle at Waterloo Station to send and receive things and it's totally taken the stress out of the post for me.

It costs 5 a month for unlimited collections and that also gives you a discount on sending things too. They send you a text and an email when things arrive, but most importantly their customer service is second to none: once they messed up my subscription and they sent me a 20 Amazon voucher when they had only over charged me by 5.

The postman just came (7.15pm) and delivered NINETEEN items of mail, including a couple of outstanding Christmas presents which I've been waiting for.

I'm still waiting on one gift worth 250, which should come as a signed for item.

The postman said they are well overstretched, and there's a huge backlog at Mandela way.

I had a signed-for package that was delivered on Friday and I didn't have to sign for it. When I checked the tracking it's saying the package is on the way and has left the delivery office in Wales! It was a Christmas present which is now under my tree. Why are we paying for 'signed-for' that never is? I shall be writing to my MP in the new year - but I think it'd better be emailed, not posted!

I've already informed Neil Coyle about it, and he's on the case. However, the more people who bring the problems to his attention the better!

Well done Andy - I'll get on to him too!
