I use the Doddle at Waterloo Station to send and receive things and it's totally taken the stress out of the post for me.
It costs £5 a month for unlimited collections and that also gives you a discount on sending things too. They send you a text and an email when things arrive, but most importantly their customer service is second to none: once they messed up my subscription and they sent me a £20 Amazon voucher when they had only over charged me by £5.
I had a signed-for package that was delivered on Friday and I didn't have to sign for it. When I checked the tracking it's saying the package is on the way and has left the delivery office in Wales! It was a Christmas present which is now under my tree. Why are we paying for 'signed-for' that never is? I shall be writing to my MP in the new year - but I think it'd better be emailed, not posted!
