Has anyone any information about the destruction of daffodil beds in Tabard Park Gardens?
While walking the dog this morning, I saw that a large part of the daffodil bed on the raised section had been completely destroyed. The flowers were stolen and the foliage trampled flat. Also, a large area of grass had been trodden down and covered in coloured paint.

Yes I saw that too, was terrible. I did wonder if it had anything to do with the Kings students who have accommodation across the road but may be totally wrong. (I know previously they have held park parties.)

There were a lot of students (?) wandering around the area yesterday afternoon all daubed with mainly orange / green powder paint as if they had been in a Holi style paint fight. The paint fight, also known as a festival of colours or 'sharing love' is a spring festival so was this an appropriation of that Hindu festival? If so, not exactly sharing love with the daffs.....
