The Laughing Gravy, at the southern end of Blackfriars Road, serves a good brunch, but it isn't exactly cheap...

We went to Joe's Kitchen yesterday and we loved it! I'll keep trying the places you all have mentioned and keep you posted ;)

I just wanted to bump this thread to second the recommendation for the Craftsman cafe - a hidden gem in an otherwise not so salubrious area. They appear to source a number of their ingredients from the Spa Terminus, including cheese from Kappacasein :) If this place was in Maltby market then it'd be heaving!
