Hey all, I wonder if anyone could recommend someone for removal of a few household items for junk? I would've been happy enough to pay for the councils bulk refuse service(even though it used to be free!) but in their infinite wisdom they only collect from the ground floor! Duh. Seeing as I'm on the second floor(of a council block managed by southwark!) this isn't a viable option.

Ideally they can bring the items to the ground floor & southwark can do the rest but I'm guessing there can't be many takers for that so anybody reliable & cheap to do the full job would be appreciated.

How heavy are the items?

Solid wood wardrobe, double bed, sofa, couple of chairs. All too much for one person. Removal rates are expensive but the council's left me no other option?

Are your items saleable by the British Heart Foundation in Old Kent Road? They're good at whisking them away from you, just so long as they're in good condition. Even if they can take just a few of them that would help.
