Sorry if anyone has brought this up already, but I was wondering if you have noticed that the new square in front of the Shopping Centre was completely flooded last week just because it rained a little bit more than usual.
So much money spent and they didn't think of a way for the water to flow?
Or maybe it was an intentional attempt to convince the skateboarders to switch to windsurfing?
The cross over to the Centre from London Road was always fun after rain. You could choose to wade through the huge puddle , long jump it or tiptoe around the edges on squelchy mud, risking an unexpected slalom with shopping bags as obstacles .And to think that I thought that crossing would be mundane these days, however it seems that all's back to normal.
