Pilgrimage Street and Tabard Street, in Chaucer Ward - that all makes sense .... Nebraska Street, I don't get. Anyone know why it is named that? :-)

It's mentioned in the 1980 book Place Names of Greater London but you'll have to buy the book or borrow it from a library to see the full text of the relevant section.

i love this sort of stuff. Haven't found out why, but I was tring to work out when it was called that. Haven't found that out either but I though t might like to see what was going on it 1878.
