Crikey Kory, just read their reviews on NHS choices....pity the website did not show the disparity ...ie. Nice clear website, clear concise...falls down on staff!

I know Jan- the attitude seems systematic as if you wade through the many reviews scrolling back- the reports of rudeness and aggression go back consistently to 2012! Think that is when the review NHS Choices started.

I have also had bad experiences with the reception staff over the years so much so that I dread booking appointments ( I almost lost it once when I tried to book a double appointment as requested by the doctor and they kept on refusing).
I enlisted on their online access just for booking purposes (I had to fill the form twice as they eventually accepted that they had lost the first form after months of asking about the delay). I was exasperated to find out that you actually cannot book appointment on their bloody website...
On the plus side, they have a gentleman at the reception who is always very helpful, smiling and even singing at times, a pleasure to talk to. I wish he could teach the dragon ladies a lesson!

I think PSGP should wear name badges myself, I have also experienced rudeness from the receptionist. When I told Dr Doherty, she got the practice manager to call me about it.

And if that fails, don't forget that PSGP is now part of the Nexus Health Partnership: they would presumably be the people to contact if you get no joy from Catherine Arden.

I would include a link to this discussion thread in your communications, just so as to show that you are not a lone voice and that other patients have also something to say about PSGP's reception.

Definitely send the Practice Manager a link to this topic. Maybe even a printout.

Update- I am due to speak to the Patients service manager and NHS England Complaints in the next few days. Both of whom I wrote to- from her initial email the PSM seemed to be aware of the rude/agressive receptionists- and it was on going!
