Re James' posting about Southwark Council's cabinet meeting to discuss updating the Council plan. I hope someone on the cabinet will raise the issue that London Bridge, Bankside and Blackfriars Central should also take into account that it is a place to live (if you haven't been priced out). We need to be more than just a tourist attraction or a place where people go home from every night . . . this is a bit clumsily worded but I sometimes despair of Southwark Council.

Well said! I sometimes wonder if anyone considers us existing people who live here when planning any future developments. SE1 just resembles builder city as far as I'm concerned.
