Random question, has anyone else experienced ladybirds in their home recently?

I've had a number of them in my flat over the last few weeks! Any tips on how to stop or keep them out?

They can overwinter in your house, there are a variety which can emit a stink if you hurt them. There was a variety called Harlequin, they vary slightly in colour. Best Google them. My daughter had them inside her Windows , got a paintbrush flicked them outside. Not sure if they bite? Apparently if you leave them they leave in the spring of their own accord. She also found them inside her garden umbrella, unfortunately they were dispatched pretty quickly!
