An incident in Nelson Square today. Happened lunch time. Entrances 'sealed off' by crime tape. Spoke to police. Apparently a man mid 20s pushing two children on the swings was
stabbed by two youths aged between 16 and 20. Police dog was brought in but has gone now. Another witness saw the victim bleeding quite heavily outside the Anchor and Hope pub in The Cut. He was receiving treatment on the spot by police. Did anyone see anything?

Oh no :( Just posted in the other thread after I saw the police there. Let's hope our lovely square doesn't become crime central.

Wholeheartedly agree with you there! On Thursday at 1230 there were around 68 people - assorted mums with toddlers, babies, a couple of dads, office workers having their lunch, others sunbathing. There were a couple of young men playing table tennis and the basketball section was being used. It was good to see the Square being enjoyed.
