Hello, I live in North London and received a letter from Community Roadwatch re a speeding notification. It's just a warning and not a potential fine. Problem is it is my vehicle and the correct registration number and it states I was speeding in Highwood Hill by Sawyer Road SE1 on 17th June 2019 at 12.00am. I cannot find either of these roads in SE1 although there is a Sawyer Street and more importantly the vehicle was never in this location. My home CCTV clearly shows the vehicle outside my house and behind locked gates for the entire day and following day. Just wondered how they could get so much info wrong and is there a clone of my car. Lastly apologies if this is on the wrong message board.

A few years ago I got a fine through the post stating my car was illegally parked inStockwell.
It was a Lambeth ticket issued.
I rang and told them I have never parked in the street they stated . They said they would send me photo proof. When their proof arrived it was a photo of my car parked outside my address in SE1 .
I challenged this and stated fraud was being committed, they said I would need to appeal . It took 6 months until they said they have dismissed the ticket. I wanted to know how could a Lambeth ticket be issued on a car sitting in Se1 and then be told it was parked in Stockwell. They wouldn't comment any further.

It looks like you will have to appeal but it could pay you to pop into your local police station as well to inform them .
Good luck.
