When will it just be accepted that New World Payphones are an advertising hoarding company? The phones never work and no one actually needs the cluttering up the pavement in a world dominated by mobiles, but the averts plastered on them must be profitable.

Completely agree that they are advertising sites and not payphones.

On the short stretch between Borough Station and Great Suffolk Street we have 4 payphones all with large and lucrative advertising.

I'd question the need for even one.
