Dog-friendly pub

Can anyone recommend a dog-friendly pub, with food, close to Waterloo?

For a cafe rather than a pub, http://sallywhite.co.uk/ is also dog friendly, albeit a slightly further walk.

I'd love to hear other recommendations.

The Anchor & Hope on The Cut is dog friendly, I haven't been but I've been told the food is great.

Not a pub but The Green Room on Upper Ground is dog friendly and has really nice food, plus cocktails.

Ohhhh, I'll definitely try the Green Room :)

OP, for the Anchor and Hope, it depends on the dogs tolerance to people and the time of day. They don't allow pre-booking of tables and can be extremely crowded in the evening. But interesting to know they do allow dogs, I'll give it a try one lunchtime.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'd never have expected the Green Room to be a doggy place, but I'll certainly check it out next time.

We went to The White Hart on Cornwall Rd in the end - which was very welcoming to me and Tess the lurcher, with water and treats.

I didn't see Tess the Lurcher at Mercato on Sunday did I? It was a beautiful dog whoever he/she was.

EDIT: So obviously, Mercato is dog friendly.

Not sure for nowadays, but earlier I used to look in at the Stage Door with my springer, we liked to have our meal and beer on the balcony.

The Horse and Stables is a little father away, but also used to be a very-very dog-friendly pub with tasty food and excellent service.
