Do they not change the sign to "Not in Service" on buses that have been involved in accidents? I have no evidence for this, I just have noticed it in the few accidents involving buses I've seen. The bus was IN service, judging by the passengers on it, so maybe there is some legal reason why they would change the sign? Just guessing here...

It on the western side of were the Circus meets Blackfriars Road.

I was wrong: it occurred at the junction with Waterloo Road, close to the H10 hotel.

That is a nasty spot, and there are still flowers up for a lady who was killed while crossing the road there.
