Dear all
A local rogue estate agent has placed a “to let” sign on my property without my permission nor is there anyhow “to let”!
Despite 3 telephone calls nothing - not even an apology.
I have since reported them to Southwark Trading Standards
Just wonder if anyone else having similar issues?
Since it happened I have noticed their sign popping up on my walk to Waterloo daily!

My colleague had the same issue 2 weeks ago. I have no idea why would they do it. Nothing to gain I guess?

There are lots in E&C. The rogue estate agent gets free advertising and makes them look good st selling/renting properties.

Is there some reason why the "rogue" estate agent (or is there more than one firm?) can't be named on this website?

If they have installed the sign actually within your property, you should send them an invoice for placement of an advertising hoarding.

£20 per day should do it...

Have that here in Kennington too. Last time a sign was placed advertising in a conservation area- so against council regs. Took it down myself and dumped it on their doorstep.
