Hi all,

I've previously been using Millenium Autos to MOT and stick back together my ancient little car and it's been costing an arm and a leg. I heard they'd gone out of business and then been taken over by someone else. Can anyone recommend a decent garage in SE1 who won't look down their noses at a woman owning what could possibly be described as a go cart with an engine...

Any sensible suggestions much appreciated. Ta in advance.

RW Autos, Morocco St, a very personal service, run by Pat and Ian, honest and been there for ages - labour rate 65ph or if it's nothing OEM like Merc or BMW diagnostics and straight forward servicing then you can try TR Autos Elephant Street SE1, an Indian run outfit but labour rates used to be 35 an hour.

Thanks, I used to use RW Autos, initially they were great, but they started being a bit off with me - my car's old and crap and the one I had before was older and crapper - they seem to deal with a lot of high end Bermondsey St clients.. Never tried the one on Elephant Rd though I walk past it all the time.

This topic came up a while ago - I like MB Autocheck on Steedman Street, just off Walworth Road (opposite Heygate Street, not far down from Elephant).
Phone: 020 7703 5547. I've taken all my old cars to them for the last ten years, always been helpful.
